The AB 41 was an improvement on the AB40. The largest change was the increase in firepower with a 20mm cannon in the redesinged turret. It was
produced in greater numbers than it's predecesor and successor and became the most important armored car in the Italian inventory.
After the Italian surrender, RSI elements used this vehicle and when the war ended police units took control of the those that survived. Examples saw
action in North Africa, Italy and the Eastern Front.
