| This version is armed with a D 921 90mm gun and a co-axial light machine gun mounted to the left of the 90mm. An additional light machine-gun may be
fitted to the turret roof. The main armament has an elevation of +15° and a depression of -8°. The turret has a full traverse of 360° that takes
approximately 20 seconds to accomplish as elevation and traverse are manual.
The turret is provided with two circular hatches that open to the rear with the commanders hatch having a slight dome-shape. Sighting equipment
includes eight periscopes and an AMX M262 gunners telescopic sight. Fitted to the exterior are two smoke grenade dischargers on each rear corner of
the turret.
The gun fires HE and HEAT rounds out to a maximum range of 2,000m and a maximum of twenty round is carried in addition to 2,400 round of
machine-gun ammunition.
