The Lancia IZM was built by Ansaldo on the Lancia IZ light truck chassis. Unlike the M1915 these vehicles appear to have been equipped with Maxim
MGs from the beginning of production. The third MG was placed in the rear of the hull. As late as the outbreak of WW2, examples could still be found in
Italian East Africa and Libya.
