| The Dingo is a patrol and liason vehicle designed to provide a high level of protection against small arms fire, shell splinters and anti-tank or
anti-personnel mines. In addition to all-round protection against all types of handheld weapons, a special mine deflector system provides a high degree
of crew protection against mine explosions.
The vehicle utilises a UNIMOG U1550L chassis giving it an extraordinarily high level of mobility and agility in difficult road and terrain conditions,
especially on narrow, winding roads and in mountaineous areas. Commercially available components and high production rates make the chassis an
economical system in terms of both procurement and life cycle costs.
The vehicle has an authorized total weight of 8,900 kg for a payload of 1,200 kg. It is designed to carry five fully equipped soldiers.
The vehicle is equipped with an NBC protection system, an air conditioning system, auxiliary heating, ABS, a reversing camera, GPS navigation as well
as a modern radio and an infantry tank telephone system.
