| The Gepanzerter Mannschaftstransportwagen aka Sd.Kfz.3 was another armoured vehicle based on Daimler DZVR which originally entered in service in 1920. 105 examples
were produced by Daimler and they served in 7 units of motorised carriers (15 per unit). The vehicle weighed 11-tons and had a rather poor cross-country performances because
of the solid tyre wheels. It entered in service in the 1930s but they were quickly relegated to roles of training, and reconnaissance.
Some were used as command vehicles and fitted with radios and frame antennae.
