In 1941 the John Deere company produced this armoured version of its Model A Tractor. It had a crew of 3 and was powered by a John Deere, 2-cylinder engine. It was designed
for moving cargo in dangerous areas.
The armament was three .30cal machine guns; besides the driver’s machine gun, there were two more in a pod on either side of the engine with a gunner in each pod.
There were four versions before development was dropped.
