The Leopard was a mine protected vehicle that used components of a VW Beetle. It could seat 5 - 6 people.
The monocoque hull provided ballistic protection against small arms fire and the externally mounted roll cage protected the occupants from the inevitable roll-over in a mine
incident. The wheels were also offset from the hull and designed to minimise the blast around the hull.
