| In February 2006, a cooperative venture between Abu Dhabi-based Bin Jabr Group and KADDB, called Advanced Industries of Arabia, won a $41 million contract to supply the
UAE armed forces with the Nimr 4x4 high mobility tactical vehicle. The Nimr order calls for 500 vehicles in a mix of four variants with the first batch delivered in June 2007.
The vehicle has a custom-made cooling system, which allows troops to operate in extreme weather conditions.
The Nimr will be manufactured at a KADDB plant in Jordan.
