| In 1928 the US Ordnance Department built an armoured car, designated T2, on a chassis provided by the La Salle Division of GMC.
Several variations of the T2 followed but they basically all had a crew of 4 and were armed with a single .30cal machine gun. They were all powered by a La Salle, 8-cylinder,
water-cooled, petrol engine.
