The Lastenverteiler was used to transport the 15cm KiSL by road to its prepared battery sites in the Festen modern forts surrounding Metz.
It consisted of a metal frame, containing the weapon, attached to a three-axle bogie at the rear and pivoted at the front end on a single-axle articulated trailer.
