| The Zhalo series of 85mm anti-tank guns were developed in the in the 1970's. They were designed with a high fire rate; 20-25 rounds per minute and powerful muzzle brake with
an effectiveness approaching 70-80%. It was produced in two versions, the Zhalo-B towed and Zhalo-S turret mounted versions, but didn't go to production because the armour
penetration of the 85mm gun was not good enough.
