Modern artillery is a far cry from the artillery of even the last century, the days of galloping upto the front line, unlimbering and bombarding an enemy in
plain view of the gunners has long gone. Today's artillery would very rarely even glimpse the enemy and as artillery's reach becomes even longer
then that liklehood becomes even rarer.
