TANK REGIMENT, TANK DIVISION ( FSU )

This listing was originally produced for use as a recognition aide in 1991 and is a compilation of a large number of various publications and sources. It was originally written as a source reference for the primary threat regiment to NATO forces based in Germany. It includes the resources that may be allocated to it from the division.

  5. Vehicle types are self explanatory and all trucks are classed as followed:
      6W ( 6 wheeled ) and may be suffixed by the following :
      • BBV - Box Bodied Vehicle.
      • BOW - Bowser Vehicle.
      • LCV - Load Carrying Vehicle.
      • +Tlr - Towing Trailer.
      • VBL - Vehicle Bridge Layer.
  6. Due to the variety of soviet trucks available the alternative types are not listed and only the expected type is named.
  7. The listed tank may be replaced by other versions or models, this does not effect the composition of the packet.
