| Mine ploughs within the US Army were always big and the Peter Pan was no exception. It was very large, very heavy and extremely cumbersome. The plough had a sharp
V-shape with side-wings which could be folded for transport. The plough arms extended all the way down the side to the rear of the vehicle to which it was fitted and its one
saving grace was the fact that it could be jettisoned if required. It was the size and lack of manouverability that killed the project though rumour has it that the plough was
produced again everytime a new tank entered the US arsenal in an attempt to find something that could manage it.
