| The Peter Rabbit Mine Clearing System aka Wild BIll Point Charge Projector was a magazine-fed, spring-loaded launching system used to throw explosive charges into a
minefield. The concussion caused by the 2-pound charges would detonate any mines in the area where they landed. They were expected to land in a rectangular grid pattern
about 2-foot apart. The project was abandoned because it was not possible to develop the neccessary small lightweight, economical explosive device that would explode
regardless of how it landed and still be safe to handle.
