The Argentine Army started a program to upgrade all of 118 SK-105A1 to A2 standard with austrian assistance at the Logistic Base Comodoro Rivadavia, this upgrade consisted
of a new turret fitted with an ELBIT thermal camera, revised FCS and main armament adapted to fire APSDS and APSDSF ammo.
