In 1962 the USMC and Borg-Warner produced a more useful version of the Airoll. It had thirteen tyres each side and was fitted with catwalks, lighting clusters and a windshield.
The vehicle was also known as the Water Skipper and, perversely, the US Navy called it the LVA-X.
