BIONIX

SERIES OF TRACKED ARMOURED VEHICLES


The Bionix series of tracked armoured vehicles was commissioned by the Singapore Armed Forces in 1997 and designed and developed by Singapore Technologies Ltd (ST Auto). It entered production in 1998. It was also considered for the US Army's Interim Armoured Vehicle program for the new Brigade Combat Team (BGT) Weighing around 23 tonnes the Bionix design is being made available in a number of' variants including Armoured Personnel Carrier.

  • Six small roadwheels with three top rollers,
  • Sprocket front, Idler rear.
  • driver front left, Engine front right.
  • Long sloping glacis plate with ribbed effect and large solid engine access hatch.
  • Lighting clusters inset into corners of glacis.
  • Three-piece side armour.
