This Czech-made vehicle looks a lot like the BMP-2 , but is in fact a modified BVP-1 (Czech production BMP-1) or more precise a DP-90 (the prototype
was in fact a DP-90 with the LOS system). Note the antenna on the left rear of the hull! The BMP-1 LOS is fitted with a mock-up of the BMP-2 turret and
has a dummy gun. The vehicle resembles a BMP-2 because it will be deployed in BMP-2 companies. The LOS system consists of a day/night television
camera, a laser rangefinder and a laser target marker, all mounted on a telescopic mast. It used by forward observors.
