| Although referred to by several sources as YPR-765, the AIFV’s that recently entered service with the Chilean marine corps are in fact of Belgian origin and were built under
licence by BMF but withdrawn from service c2004. Depending on the source, the numbers vary between 111 and 139, including a dozen or so M113A1-B’s. The vehicles were
refurbished and modified by the Belgian company SABIEX before being shipped to Chile.
