HWK

SERIES OF TRACKED ARMOURED VEHICLES

The German-built HWK-11 armoured personnel carrier only ever entered service with the Mexican army. Forty examples were delivered by Henschel-Werke Kassel between 1964 and 1965 as unarmed APCs and later Mexico bought up all the remaining prototypes and experimental variants and converted them to the basic APC configuration plus a few support versions. This bought the number of examples they possesed upto 55.
