| The Chun Ma, Lit; Pegasus, is a self-propelled Surface to Air Missile System based on an extended version of the K200A1 chassis, This weapon system
is a 10 Km class surface-to-air missile system based on CLOS type guidance. The vehicle has a crew of 3.
The turret is fitted with two 4 round SAM launchers, one each side of the turret, with an effective range of 10 km, an E/F target acquisition radar, a Ku-band
radar in front, FLIR electro-optical tracking system and IFF. It has combat capabilities for day and night operation in all weather conditions due to the state
of the art radar and EOTS.
The Chun Ma chassis is of all-welded armor construction which provides the occupants with protection from small arms and shell splinters. The
powerpack consists of a 10-cylinder Daewoo D2840L diesel engine generating 520 hp coupled to a fully automatic transmission which gives a maximum
road speed of 60 kph and acceleration from 0 to 32 kph in around 10 seconds.
The missile is in a sealed tube and is fitted with a laser proximity fuse and a 12 kg focused fragment warhead which is claimed to give a high kill
probability. Maximum speed of the missile is reached to Mach 2.6 with a maneuverability of 30 g.
