BORG-WARNER A VEHICLE

CARRIER, FULL-TRACK, AMPHIBIOUS, PERSONNEL, 37MM

This experimental prototype featured a 37mm gun and, indirectly, lead to the development of the LVT(A)1. It featured an M3 light tank turret, two bow machine-guns and a rear ramp and weighed 11-tons. Parts were constructed of Duralumin but these were later changed to steel. The vehicle was unarmoured.
