LVT PROTOTYPE A GUN CARRIER MODIFIED

CARRIER, FULL-TRACK, AMPHIBIOUS, FS, 105MM

In an attempt to cure the problems with the LVT Prototype A Gun Carrier the vehicle was fitted with a Contninental AV-1790-5A engine and Allison CD-850-4A transmission. This also failed to improve the vehicles performance and the concept was abandoned.
