LVT-3C [Postwar Rebuild]

CARRIER, FULL-TRACK, AMPHIBIOUS, PERSONNEL

Postwar the LVT-3 fleet was rebuilt by Continental Aviation & Engineering who added cargo covers, a higher deck, escape hatches and a turret. Although the basic configuration was the same as the original the new version carried less payload due to increased weight.
