SERIES OF AMPHIBIOUS TRACKED ARMOURED VEHICLES
FMC replacement tracked amphibian proposal for the USMC in 1951 which was based on the T59/M59 series of vehicles. Five prototypes were built from 1952-1955 with three different power trains. Several were later rebuilt into support versions.

LVTAA-X2
- Fitted with turrets from the M42 Duster SPAAG, 1956.
LVTH-X4
- Turret mounted 105mm howitzer, with Chrysler power packs.

- Pilot 5 type classified for production, 1956.

- Fitted with Cadillac Model 331 engines, 1952.
LVTP-X2 [Pilot 2]
- Fitted with GMC Model 302 truck engines.

- Fitted with Chrysler V8 engines & Powerflyte transmissions.
