Introduced in 1991 the P-12 model featured a detachable box magazine unlike the P-10. The weapon was intended to be used as a concealed carry pistol using the Glaser
Safety Slug and is best used with this ammunition only.
The slide was difficult to remove, having a pin which had to be punched in order to remove the slide and or put the slide back on. It was partially because of this that the
weapon had problems with sales and by 1995 was no longer available.
