The T2 cargo carrier used an aluminium alloy hull and componenets from the M1 light tank. It was tested during 1936 and was not a great success as the available cargo area
was no more than 4x8' and cargo had to be manhandled over the side.
The vehicle weighed 11.570-pounds and could carry 6,000-pounds of cargo. The Continental 250hp, 668 cubic-inch, 7-cylinder radial engine could propel the vehicle at speeds
of up to 35mph on hard surfaces and its 50-gallon fuel tank gave it a range of around 140-miles.
