| Total number produced was 8,884; 1,000 by American Car & Foundry, 5,000 by Cadillac/Detroit, 1,550 by Cadillac/Southgate and 1,334 by Massey-Harris.
At the end of the war 1,973 tanks were still in depots. 25 were obligated to CONUS Army troops and the remainder were at: Anniston - 247; Chester - 217;
Longue Pointe - 82; Red River - 147; Richmond - 108; Schenectady - 300; Others - 872.
Of the 6,911 vehicles distributed, 4,675 went to the US Army overseas, 462 went to CONUS units, 72 went to the Navy/USMC, 1,431 to the UK, 5 to the
USSR, and 226 to other countries. There were also 35 vehicles used for conversions and tests and 5 for 'miscellaneous purposes'.
The 462 in CONUS units were distributed in the following Service Commands: 1st - 3; 2nd - 9; 3rd - 35; 4th - 83; 5th - 93; 6th - 3; 7th - 63; 8th - 90; 9th - 83.
