| The Renault NC series of light tanks were essentially similar to the FT-17, with improved transmission and rubber tracks to increase its speed and manouverability.
Unfortunately the cash-starved French army at the time had plenty of Renault tanks and preferred to wait until the D1 so they were mostly built for export and even then in
small numbers - probably no more than 65-67 examples were constructed.
