This vehicle was first seen in 1973 and is based upon the T-54/55 tank chassis. The turret has been removed and a hydraulic crane which can be fitted
with either a grab or an excavator bucket has been fitted. An adjustable, hydraulically-operated dozer blade is mounted on the front. The crane operator is
provided with an armoured cupola which has an observation window. The crane can be traversed 360°. The jib of the crane is telescopic and when
in the travelling position rests on a cradle at the rear of the hull. The cradle folds down against the engine deck when the crane is being used.
A searchlight is mounted on the crane for night operations. An unditching beam is carried at the rear of the hull.
