SERIES OF 4-WHEEL FORWARD CONTOL UTILITY VEHICLES

The Kaiser Jeep FC170 series of light utility vehicles were used mainly by the US Navy/USMC. They were powered by a Cerlist 3-cylinder, 2-stroke, 85hp diesel which was similar to a Detroit. Prototypes appeared in 1962 and the vehicle entered service in 1964.
