MARGINAL TERRAIN VEHICLE

The FB was produced during the second world war. It was designed to cross swamps, which it did, though at a very sedate pace. The vehicle was 6.6-metres long, 2.8-metres wide and 2.6-metres high. It was powered by a 100PS engine which gave it a speed of 14kph in the mud, 8kph on water and 30kph on the dry land. It could carry upto seven personnel.
